Smoothies are my favorite go to food of choice. Unless it’s winter or snowing or freezing outside, then, I avoid smoothies like the plague. They’re easy to make and SUPER delicious. And they’re one of the easiest ways to make sure you’re eating fruits and vegetables.
I made this smoothie as part of my post workout meal. And I was pleasantly happy at how good it tasted. (Honest truth time: sometimes smoothies don’t always work out like I think they will when I create them in my head.)
Sun Butter Cherry Berrylicious Smoothie

Ingredients
2 scoops plant based protein powder (I used a combination blend of hemp, pea, and quinoa.)
1/2 C frozen cauliflower
1/2 C frozen cherry berry fruit blend
A sprinkle of turmeric powder
1 Tbs original sunflower butter
2-ish Tbs unsweetened coconut milk
1 spoonful frozen apple juice concentrate
A splash of lemon juice
Water – to desired smoothie consistency
Directions
In a high power blender, add all ingredients and blend. (the amount of smoothie I made today filled a single serve blender cup perfectly.)
YUM YUM YUM!
